Goat Housing
One of the most important things to read up on before you bring your first goat home is housing and fencing. Goats are notorious for escaping so you’ll probably have to invest some more time and money in your goat fencing than you have for other livestock you may have.
Here are a couple of places to start. Though some of these links are specific to meat goat production, many of the same principles will apply to dairy goats. Try to visit as many farms in your area to see their facilities before you decide what to do on your own farm.
